Gartner Named a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion by the Disability Equality Index

Gartner is proud to share that we have been named as a best place to work for disability inclusion by the Disability Equality Index for the 4th consecutive year, a reflection of our ongoing commitment to making the workplace more inclusive. In 2024, Gartner benchmarked the US and two new countries: India and UK. We continue to support all associates, and remain committed to creating an environment where individuals can thrive.

The Disability Equality Index has become the leading independent, third-party resource for the annual benchmarking of corporate disability inclusion policies and programs, and is now trusted by more than 70% of the United States Fortune 100 and nearly half of the Fortune 500. Such companies must increasingly consider how emerging global reporting directives and stakeholder expectations surrounding social and corporate governance factors impact their operational, cultural, reputational and financial performance.

Gartner’s Collective Abilities Network (CAN) employee resource group (ERG) has had a significant impact on the lives of our associates. With events like fireside discussions, CAN (like all our ERGs) enables associates by supporting their development, driving engagement by cultivating a sense of belonging, celebrating their success and modeling what good looks like for others and identifying benefits and programs that support associate success. Every July Gartner celebrates Disability Pride Month where we shine a light on the collective abilities of our associates and the importance of building a culture that encourages open discussions and empowers every associate to achieve their goals.

This month, associates were invited to join events like a virtual sound bath, yoga and meditation to relax and unwind. Further, speakers from the Headache Alliance hosted an event to discuss headache disorders and the challenges and stigma for those impacted by them.

Craig Safian, EVP, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Sponsor of the Collective Abilities Network shared more about CAN’s progress and what this award means:

“I am so proud to sponsor the Gartner Collective Abilities Network, or CAN, which plays an integral role in us receiving a perfect score on the Disability Equality Index for the fourth year in a row! We’re the fastest growing ERG, with good reason! Every day, I see firsthand how we can have both a high-performing and inclusive culture – one that celebrates associates’ strengths and fosters disability inclusion year-round, while driving the business forward and changing the world. And CAN is a huge part of that.”
