The first reason I decided to rejoin Gartner is because Gartner is always evolving and on the cutting edge of sales methodology. In addition to this, I was motivated to return because of the tremendous value I am able to deliver to my C-level clients and their organizations. When you believe in what you’re selling, it makes it that much easier to connect with your clients and drive results. This, in turn, translates into the incredible business outcomes that impact the world.
Another reason I decided to come back to Gartner is because of the growth opportunities available. We have an abundance of support to grow our careers, including global mentorship programs, talent development resources, career briefings, and more. In fact, I recently joined a career awareness webinar where I developed a deeper understanding about how to identify and manage my career path. It was incredibly helpful and gave me more clarity and confidence to grow with Gartner. In addition, my colleagues and managers have also helped me grow with Gartner by connecting me to the right people or resources - not only in my region but in other regions as well, which opens my perspectives and helps me think out-of-the-box more easily.
Here at Gartner, I am motivated everyday by value statements from clients which reinforce the excellent support and high-value impact that we have created for them. Additionally the job is mentally stimulating as there is always something new that I can learn. Finally, I work with people I like which makes the work fun and enjoyable -I can connect with my colleagues, support them and we celebrate together as a team.
If you’re considering a new career at Gartner, or thinking of returning, I can confidently say it is the best decision I’ve ever made and I’m certain you will find the same.
