As a people-driven organization, we’re dedicated to building a work environment that allows for all associates to feel supported in their career paths and professional development.
Recently, our Diversity & Inclusion Recruiting Programs team hosted the first-ever Return to Work Sales Discovery Program in Australia. The program aims to bridge the gap between individuals who are looking to return to work after taking a break, as well as women who want to make a shift in their careers, all while educating participants on career opportunities at Gartner.
Throughout the 3-day virtual program, attendees from across Australia gained exposure to what our world-class sales team is like, interview preparation, and received tips on how to successfully return to the corporate world from members of our organization.
Female leaders from our sales and executive partner team spoke to the group about the work that they do as well as how Gartner teams collaborate and partner to keep the client as the main focus in all that we do. Participants also got a sneak peek into what our culture is like from Lana de Sliva, Area Vice President of Sales.
With a focus on professional development and educating attendees on recruitment processes, the group facilitated role-play exercises around the art of the elevator pitch as well as how to successfully prepare for an interview.
“I loved being able to hear from Gartner’s leaders, practice effective questioning and elevator pitches, and receiving insight into the Gartner interview process,” said one attendee.
At Gartner, we understand that making the decision to return to work, no matter your circumstance, can be challenging. Our goal is to ensure that re-entry can feel as smooth and comfortable as possible.
