Each June, we celebrate Pride Month at Gartner and invite all associates to join in-person and virtual events to connect with colleagues, expand their networks and learn something new. Read on to learn more about our Pride at Gartner employee resource group (ERG) and discover how Gartner is celebrating Pride month.
Open to all, our Pride at Gartner ERG is a global community where LGBTQ+ associates, their allies and colleagues find support, share resources, and celebrate LGBTQ+ experiences.
This year, our Pride Month initiatives offer a range of opportunities for associates to connect, learn, and celebrate together. Associates are invited to attend a fireside conversation featuring senior leaders who will share personal stories about leadership, identity, and the value of representation. In addition, a panel discussion with external experts will focus on safeguarding and advocacy for LGBTQ+ wellbeing, addressing important topics such as mental health, allyship, and personal safety. These events create space for open dialogue, reflection, and building a sense of community.
For those looking to engage through interactive experiences, we are hosting a virtual celebration with music, games, and activities designed to foster connection and reflection. We have global activities for all to get involved including sponsored a booth at Tokyo Rainbow Pride, where associates can volunteer, show support, and engage with the community. In Gurgaon, associates are invited to join an in-person macramé art workshop led by transgender artisans where they’ll learn the intricate art of knotting and weaving to create beautiful, handcrafted designs. These experiences reflect Gartner’s inclusive workplace where different perspectives are valued.
