Gartner Associates Celebrate Disability Pride Month

In line with Disability Pride Month, our Collective Abilities Network ERG is hosting a series of events & programming with the theme 'De-stress for Success’. Read on to learn more about our Collective Abilities Network (CAN) employee resource group (ERG) and discover how Gartner is celebrating Disability Pride month.

Open to all, CAN at Gartner is a globally inclusive community for associates with hidden and apparent disabilities, mental health challenges, neurodiversity, chronic or acute illness, their caregivers & colleagues. CAN has had a significant impact on our associates and has played an integral role in our continued recognition as a best place to work for disability inclusion by the Disability Equality Index.

To celebrate the month, CAN has organized global programming designed to encourage Gartner associates to recharge, reflect, and renew. Through a series of engaging events, practical resources, and supportive conversations, associates will explore how stress impacts their lives in unique ways and discover strategies to prioritize well-being.

Throughout the month, Gartner associates will be invited to participate in coffee chats that encourage conversations about the importance of fostering a sense of belonging. To support well-being, associates will also have access to virtual yoga and mindfulness workshops designed for all abilities. A highlight of the month is the Cribs De-Stress Fest which is a cross-team fundraiser where associates share their favorite ways to de-stress and spotlight charitable causes that matter to them. This interactive event inspires colleagues to support meaningful organizations and connect in a fun, uplifting atmosphere.

Gartner associates will also have the opportunity to give back through volunteer initiatives with local animal shelters. Finally, associates will be invited to an interactive workshop on neurodiversity, providing practical tools for managing stress, supporting sustainable performance, and creating more inclusive workplaces. Through a practical and engaging discussion, Dr. Preston will explore how neurodiversity shows up in day-to-day work and how cognitive load can impact performance and well-being.  By sharing personal stories, exchanging tips for self-care, and learning together, Gartner is fostering a culture where everyone feels empowered to thrive.
