Each May, we celebrate Asian and Pacific Islander Recognition Month at Gartner. Throughout the month, we recognize the culture, traditions and history of our associates through various activities organized by our Asians and Pacific Islanders at Gartner employee resource group. The API at Gartner ERG, open to all associates, is dedicated to the community, growth and advocacy for Asian and Pacific Islander associates and their colleagues globally.
To celebrate API Recognition Month, the ERG has planned a series of events for associates around the world. The month begins with an inspiring keynote featuring Scout Bassett, a seven time national champion in track and a medalist at the ITU Paratriathlon World Championships, who shares her journey of perseverance and purpose. Associates are also invited to participate in hands-on workshops, such as exploring the Japanese art of Kintsugi which focuses on finding beauty in imperfection, or learning the history and craft of boba tea. Career-focused programming, aligned to our companywide priorities, includes turning perspective into real business impact and equipping associates with practical tools to sustain motivation.
We will also be hosting celebrations around the world designed to bring colleagues together through music, games, and engaging in-person activities. These experiences reflect Gartner’s inclusive workplace where different perspectives are valued.
