Gartner Gives

Gartner India Associates Unite for Global Volunteer and Earth Month

This Global Volunteer Month and Earth Month, Gartner associates across Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai came together to create meaningful change for our communities and the environment through hands-on activities with our India CSR charity partners.

In Gurgaon, our associates partnered with Saahas to host an engaging session on waste sorting and management. The Saahas team visited the Gartner office to share practical tips on the waste hierarchy - encouraging Gartner associates to reduce, reuse and recycle before considering new purchases. This interactive discussion inspired everyone to make more thoughtful choices every day. Afterward, associates joined together for a sapling planting drive at DLF Cyber Park that gave participants the opportunity to strengthen the local ecosystem.

Our Mumbai associates joined hands with Snehasadan, an organization dedicated to providing shelter for homeless children, for a special tree planting event. Together with Snehasadan’s children, our associates planted saplings while engaging in conversations about sustainable living choices. It was an uplifting experience that empowered both associates and young participants to embrace everyday actions that protect our planet.

In Bangalore this year, instead of planting new trees or plants at Diya Ghar - a centre offering early childhood care and education, Gartner associates returned to nurture what we planted last year. By caring for these growing saplings alongside the children of Diya Ghar, we reinforced an important lesson: sustainability is about ongoing commitment. Our associates spent time interacting with the children on environmental awareness while demonstrating that true impact comes from consistent care.

Our Chennai team visited Little Drops, a charity focused on rehabilitating homeless elders, to plant trees together around their facility grounds. This collaboration not only contributed positively toward greening local spaces but also strengthened bonds within the community as we worked side by side toward a common goal.
