Description
The Executive Recruiter (Consulting) is responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and matching candidates to the most senior executive level profiles (MVP and above) and specific open requisitions across various Business Units. Guide HR partners, OC members and their respective direct reports, on candidate sourcing strategy, targeted recruitment channels and existing and expected market conditions. Develop a thorough understanding of the business, client needs and specific talent pools. Develop and share detailed and consistent reporting on search detail/status.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and facilitate recruiting strategy with hiring manager (OC members and/or their direct reports), partnering closely to understand and account for team dynamic and culture
- Influence and build credible stakeholder relationships with the OC and OC-1 executives
- Actively pursue all channels (professional networks, social media, and association affiliations) to source, attract and effectively close best in class talent for senior level roles
- Act as a talent advisor to the business, strategically making recommendations and conducting and leveraging market intel to inform hiring initiatives and hiring decisions and outcomes
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for complex executive level roles; liaise with internal partners and external vendors to close candidates
- Maintain strict discretion/confidentiality with details of searches
- Maximize direct hiring, using agency/vendor channels only when approved by VP
- Manage data integrity within Workday, and within the CRM tool (Beamery) ensuring timely entry within both database systems
- Counsel hiring managers on interview skills throughout the process to ensure compliance and to minimize risk factors
- Prioritize among multiple requisitions, conflicting priorities, and short timelines dependent upon alignment with individual lines of business and with Gartner’s strategic direction
- Build pipelines of senior level candidates for bench strength and succession planning by developing and proactively managing a network of recruitment and referral sources
- Own the creation, development, and maintenance of the executive search process while identifying and implementing opportunities for process enhancements
- Actively participate and contribute to special and unique talent acquisition or executive search related project work
- Proactively mentor, coach, develop and onboard new or more junior executive search colleagues to aid in their success
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience full life cycle recruiting experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on executive level search.
- Proven track record of independently and successfully managing executive level search (MVP & above) and cultivating good for Gartner senior leadership
- Proven use of networking/social channels to build candidate pools, and proven knowledge and experience of Internet sourcing
- Proven ability to act as a market expert by conducting and leveraging market mapping and intelligence to cultivate senior leadership talent
- Proven ability to successfully work with and influence the OC, senior executives and their respective teams
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
- ATS experience a plus
