About this role:

Under the supervision of a Japan based Team Lead, with mentoring from local, and global peers; Specialists and Coordinators, you will provide administrative support to assigned stakeholders to maintain their efficiency and effectiveness. The applicant will be responsible for ensuring consistency and accuracy of travel and expense processing in accordance with corporate policies, internal controls, and guidelines. The applicant is expected to be proactive, independent, and work well in teams across different time zones. The employee will develop a broad base of marketable skills including, but not limited to, client and senior executive communications, time management and ability to multi-task. The work environment is fast-paced and blends the combination of collaborative interactions and independent work, must be results-driven.

Responsibilities:

  • Book travel & process expense reports

  • Manage calendars & schedule activities for stakeholders.

  • Act as a liaison for other Business Units

  • Provide logistical office support as needed.

  • Provide onsite support for internal and external clients

  • Provide global support (supporting different time zones, local language support, knowledge of region-specific processes)

  • Serve as a knowledge expert for Gartner tools and applications.

  • Support Gartner and non-Gartner conferences/events as needed.

  • Provide project support (research document support, client call scheduling, etc.)

  • Adhere to established policies, processes, and guidelines.

  • Responsible for data compilation & report production.

  • Support stakeholder onboarding & departures.

  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and special duties as needed.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • High proficiency in both Mandarin and English

  • 0.5 - 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced professional environment (internship inclusive).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications Suite.

  • Experience managing multiple priority projects and tasks concurrently.
