Operations Manager, Marketing

About this role:

Gartner is looking for a well-rounded Operations Manager who will support the Integrated Marketing Solutions and Creative Center of Excellence teams. The Operations Manager will assist in overseeing the department’s organizational processes and operations - aiming to improve productivity and workflow efficiencies. This person will be a self-driven, detail-oriented, and deadline-focused individual who can oversee multiple projects at a time, communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, and manage work. This role will report into the Director of Integrated Marketing Solutions Program Management. 

Our Program Management team seeks to continuously improve the productivity and performance of the greater Integrated Marketing Solutions team. We will establish, update, and manage operational protocols, programs, and tools to help support the greater IMS team. We will also manage and deliver high priority programs and/or projects as needed.

What you’ll do: 

Workfront Operations

  • Manage incoming request queue and assist with resource capacity.
  • Manage monthly close out process for all active project requests.
  • Manage annual administrative processes within Workfront.
  • Assist with reporting requirements as needed.

Budget/Expense Management

  • Track monthly freelance spend / assist with reconciliation.
  • Process invoices (Coupa and Conduent), ad hoc.
  • P-Card / expense management

Other General Operations and Project Management as needed

  • Provide floating support for teammates on various projects as needed.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related field and industry
  • Project management or coordination experience in a fast-paced environment, such as a creative team, marketing agency, newsroom, or other in-house support group
  • Ability to drive operational excellence.
  • Desire to learn new tools, technologies, and business processes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and solution oriented
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet client needs and business objectives.
  • Experience working in Adobe Workfront preferred.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 69,600 USD - 96,750 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
