Corporate Events & Incentives Planner

Role Purpose

The Corporate Events & Incentives Planner will partner with Conferences Global Leadership Team to deliver internal events for Gartner associates. They will handle event logistics including venue management, IT requirements, food and beverage, and agenda support.


What you will do:

  • Partner with Conferences Leadership team to deliver internal events for Gartner associates

  • Event logistics including management of venue, production, food and beverage, agenda support

  • Support and liaise with the Conferences Global Leadership Team for symposiums, summits, and quarterly meetings

  • Support on C-level events

  • Support Gartner’s annual Sales Incentive, Winners Circle and two annual internal meetings

  • Financial Management

GLT Internal Meetings and Support

  • Venue Management

  • Collaboration with internal and external partners on production requirements

  • Food & beverage management

  • Financial management

  • Liaison with external suppliers/freelancers

  • Build effective relationships with internal partners ensuring clear understanding of their strategy and priorities


What will be expected:

  • Build effective relationships with external partners ensuring clear communication of Gartner priorities

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively across pre-event and onsite teams

  • Effective project management including ownership of and adherence to timelines/templates and leveraging best practices

  • Continuous improvement through effective feedback collection and evaluation


What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 1-2 years event management experience

  • Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Financial/budget management experience

  • Results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic

  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills

  • Superior poise and judgment (demonstrated “grace under pressure”) with both internal and external constituencies

  • Competent in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proactive problem-solving skills

  • Strong service ethic and superior executive presence

  • Ability to travel up to 20-30%

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 48,800 USD - 75,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
