What we’re looking for:

We are looking for Vendor Services Specialist consults with clients to optimize their online reputation and increase their review count on Gartner Digital Markets. As a member of the Vendor Services team, you’ll become a subject matter expert in our services and will help clients leverage them to achieve their goals.

The role is suited for performance oriented and growth minded professionals looking to hone their customer relations, sales and consulting skills. It is a great opportunity to work with an international and dynamic team in a fast growing department focused on exceeding internal and external expectations.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct a high volume of client outreach through email and phone calls daily

  • Manage an assigned territory of client vendors and help them optimize their presence on Gartner Digital Markets via review recruitment, brand building and profile completion and accuracy.

  • Effectively partner with cross-functional teams to provide an exceptional vendor experience

  • Handle objections and use sales techniques to align our solutions to a vendor's business needs

  • Lead advisory calls with clients to define a strategy to improve their online reputation

  • Establish and grow our relationships with client software vendors

  • Build awareness of, and engagement with, Gartner’s Digital Markets suite of services & brand building assets

  • Work directly with team leadership to inform & direct strategy development and process improvements

  • Maintain customer relationship (CRM) database with accurate up to date contact information and notes

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of full-time account management or sales experience

  • Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and a passion for customer service.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 77,280 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
