Senior Conference Planner, Corporate Events & Incentives


Role Purpose:

To support various event logistics for Gartner’s sales incentive Winners Circle designed to celebrate achievement & inspire success. To create and deliver an effective gifting program from pre-event to onsite & post event evaluation including management of shipment globally and implementation of remote portals.

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Collaboration with internal and external partners on corporate gifting logistics

  • Global shipment management

  • Financial management & onboarding of suppliers

  • Management of various portals including uniform, gifts & tours

  • Liaison with external suppliers

  • Destination Management support

  • Support and liaise with the Conferences Global Leadership Team for symposiums, summits, and quarterly meetings

  • Build effective relationships with external partners ensuring clear communication of Gartner priorities

  • Effective project and timeline management

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively across pre-event and onsite teams

  • Effective project management including ownership of and adherence to timelines/templates and leveraging best practices

  • Continuous improvement through effective feedback collection and evaluation

  • Bachelor’s degree

Professional Experience:

  • 3 + years of relevant event management experience

  • Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Financial/budget management experience

  • Results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic

  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills

  • Superior poise and judgment (demonstrated “grace under pressure”) with both internal and external constituencies

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proactive problem-solving skills

  • Strong service ethic and superior executive presence

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time regionally and internationally

Technical/Professional Skills & Competencies:

  • Competent in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive
