About the role:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Gartner Analyst focused on SRE, contributing to the advancement of our understanding and practices in this pivotal field.

What you will do :

Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on the latest trends, methodologies, and best practices within the realm of Site Reliability Engineering. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and their impact on SRE principles.

Industry Insight: Provide thought leadership and strategic insights into the SRE landscape, offering guidance to clients on implementing effective SRE strategies for optimizing system reliability, performance, and scalability.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to understand the challenges they face and to develop comprehensive SRE solutions.

Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to our clients, delivering actionable insights and recommendations based on your expertise in SRE. Assist clients in navigating complex SRE challenges and optimizing their digital infrastructure.

Publishing: Author and contribute to research papers, articles, and other publications, showcasing your expertise in SRE and enhancing the visibility of our organization as a thought leader in the industry.

Presentations and Conferences: Present at industry conferences, webinars, and client meetings, sharing your insights and engaging with key stakeholders in the SRE community.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 9-12 years’ experience of which 5-7 in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with a strong background in software development, systems engineering, or a related field.

  • In-depth knowledge of SRE principles, tools, and methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for a non-technical audience.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

  • A track record of thought leadership through publications, presentations, or contributions to the SRE community is an asset.

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or others that validate expertise in relevant technologies and practices are an asset
