Job Overview:   

Gartner conferences are uniquely designed live events that offer a combination of actionable, objective insights, expert guidance and consultation, peer networking, and solution provider assessment. These experiences help organizations and clients worldwide turn strategy into successful execution. 

The conference sales internship is a comprehensive program within our conference sales channel. Interns will assist in the retention and growth of existing clients and forge relationships with prospective clients, while driving attendance to Gartner conferences within Europe. 

This role is for English speakers, aligned to the UK territory, to be based in Egham or London.  

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 10-week internship running between June-August 2024. You must be available to work the full 10 weeks from the location on your contract.

  • Gain real-world experience in a high-performing sales environment 

  • Interact with and receive coaching from leadership 

  • Strategize and collaborate with the account team to drive conference attendance 

  • Research and find new leads within named account territory

What You Will Need:   

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with expected graduation date between Dec 2024 and June 2025. 

  • Exceptional communication skills in English. 

  • Financial motivation, driven by working in a results-based, goal-focused environment 

  • A competitive nature and curiosity, demonstrated by extracurricular involvement in clubs or the community 

  • Leadership or work experience to supplement strong student achievement
