Job Description

Gartner for High Tech clients equips Technology Vendor CEOs, CMOs, Product, and Marketing Leaders with objective insights, advice and tools to advance their enterprise success. You'll be at the forefront of IT innovation working with dynamic High-Tech organizations with new cutting-edge IT products in Czechia.

You'll employ your curiosity and learning agility daily to uncover and understand in depth the mission critical priorities these C-Level executives need to succeed in:

  • to develop their products
  • to create and deliver successful Go-to-market strategies
  • to solve the challenges their customers face
  • to better understand their competitors

With these key insights and driven by your integrity, you will create, negotiate and close the most impactful advisory service with C-level clients. You will establish a clear roadmap and success expectations that align our most relevant High-tech Go-to-market analyst experts to deliver the insights and advice needed to help your clients make the right decisions and succeed.

As an Account Executive, you will:

  • Have ownership over full sales cycle in existing as well as new High-Tech Client accounts in the Czech Republic, ranging from Large through to Mid-Size and Emerging Tech vendors.
  • Navigate the sales process through complex business environments selling to the C-level such as CEOs, General Managers, VP Marketing and Chief Product Officers.
  • Continually build relationships with these C-Level clients to uncover their mission critical priorities and present Gartner solutions to deliver against agreed success metrics and KPIs
  • Collaborate with internal resource teams to produce proof of concept and subject matter expertise to prospects as well as helping your existing clients maximize value from Gartner’s delivery and when renewing their contracts.
  • Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Exceed your targets as they are set realistically enabling you to think big, plan for overachievement doing the right things for your clients and winning with integrity

Success Criteria:

  • Experience in direct sales to top level decision-makers and their teams in High-Tech Provider organizations in the Czech Republic
  • Passion for IT innovation & helping clients make the right decisions, impacting the country’s competitive advantage
  • Strong internal drive for best performance/results, setting ambitious goals to stretch potential and grow and improve
  • Track record of consistent over-achievement of targets and Top Performance award/recognition
  • Experience and ability to understand organization-wide issues and to align them to value added Information Technology solutions helping clients achieve their mission-critical priorities.
  • Strong natural curiosity, the ability to probe beyond 2nd/3rd level to uncover the real need of the clients
  • Excellent Active Listening with Clear & Concise Communication Skills
  • Can do attitude, solution focused problem solver who enjoys growing through a challenge
  • Collaborative, helps others and engages others to help achieve mutual goals
  • Feedback seeking, coachable with strong learning agility
  • Business fluent in Czech and English (both written and spoken)
