About this Role:
The Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition Strategy & Analytics will be a critical member of the TA extended leadership team and will have global responsibility for 3 key functions:
- Analytics & Insights
- Strategy & Enablement
- Talent Intelligence
Overseeing a team of 3 direct people leaders, this highly visible role will support all of Gartner’s 700+ TA associates globally and will be responsible for scaling our strategic and analytical capabilities to support hiring in line with Gartner’s growth objectives.
The position reports to the MVP, TA Strategy, Analytics, Operations & DEI
Responsibilities of the role:
- Build influential relationships across the organization and partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to solve complex problems and identify business improvement opportunities to effectively drive change management.
- Utilizing technology, build and implement innovative and scalable reporting capabilities to identify both current and future state insights.
- Build a world-class diagnostic function focusing on key indicators such as % to goal, pipeline health & velocity, time-to-fill/time-to-hire, requisition inventory, per-resource productivity, and team level capacity.
- Grow our Talent Intelligence capabilities and identify opportunities to expand utilization of insights to inform Gartner’s future headcount planning.
- Implement dynamic workload/project management tracking capabilities and build roadmap for how our Strategy & Analytics teams engage with key clients.
- Deliver on Talent Acquisition objectives by continually monitoring overall recruiting performance and liaising with key department partners such as Recruiting Operations, People Analytics, HR, and Workforce Planning,
- Establish a customer-centric, no-limits culture across all team members
- Collaborate with our business partners – within and outside of HR – to solve business issues.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy, analytics, or business operations with at least 3 years of people management experience
- Demonstrated experience influencing executive level clients and business partners
- Experience utilizing cutting edge technology to develop scalable solutions across a a global matrixed environment
- Excellent people management skills, including recruiting, coaching, and staff development
- Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change
- Strong collaborator and business partner
- Demonstrated ability to own, manage and complete projects with high quality results.
- High degree of technical savvy with experience using technology to solve business problems
- Extensive computer experience & proficiency with Microsoft software, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well standard reporting tools.
- Excellent organization skills. Time Management and Task flexibility. Ability to multitask and change priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 132,000 USD - 183,540 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
