About the role:
Gartner information security teams are a group of passionate information security professionals dedicated to Protecting, Detecting, and Responding to threats. Our team is filled with lifelong learners who are consistently researching ways to better defend and stay ahead of the threats of tomorrow. We are a collaborative group, where good ideas come together whether they come from the most experienced or the newest members of the team.
Gartner is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Analyst to join our team and specialize in information security training and awareness while managing human risks within our organization.
What you will do:

Develop and Implement Security Training Programs
-
Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive security training programs and initiatives to educate employees about information security best practices.

Create training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and documentation.

Security Awareness Campaigns
-
Plan and execute security awareness campaigns and initiatives to promote a culture of security within the organization.
-
Develop creative and engaging content to effectively communicate security messages to employees.
-

Human Risk Assessment
-
Conduct assessments to identify potential human risks within the enterprise and recommend mitigation strategies.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, document, and analyze security risks associated with employees and third parties.

Policy Compliance
-
Monitor and enforce compliance with information security policies, procedures, and regulations.
-
Investigate security incidents related to policy violations and recommend corrective actions.
-

Incident Response
-
Assist in incident response activities by providing expertise in understanding and addressing human-related security incidents.

Security Metrics and Reporting
-
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of security training and awareness programs.

Generate regular reports for management to highlight areas of improvement and success.
-

Security Communication
-
Act as a liaison between the security team and other departments to facilitate effective communication on security-related matters.
-
Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging threats and disseminate this information to relevant stakeholders.

What you will need:
Ideal candidates have experience in the Information Security area. Candidates should have strong analytical skills to review various processes from a risk-based lens and provide clear communication to all levels in IT and the business.
Must haves:
-
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on training and awareness.
-
Proficiency in creating and delivering engaging security training and awareness content.
-
Experience with security assessment and risk management methodologies.
-
Industry certifications such as SANS Security Awareness Professional (SSAP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are desirable.
Nice to haves:

Strong understanding of security risks associated with human factors and the ability to devise effective strategies to mitigate them

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards .
