What we’re looking for:
 

In this role, you will lead the Strategic Sales function for Gartner Digital Markets.  The Sales Regional Vice-President’s primary role is to attract, lead, coach, and develop a team of quota-bearing Sales leaders across both business development and account management functions.   

You will be directly responsible for increasing sales productivity and effectiveness while scaling the strategic sales organization globally.  As a critical member of the Sales Leadership team, you will partner cross functionally with Enablement, L&D, Sales Ops, Marketing, Product to ensure alignment and meeting of ongoing operational needs related to our enterprise sales organization.

  • Establish deep understanding of Digital Markets business drivers and goals.

  • Partner in setting and executing the short- and long-term strategy for the strategic sales organization, ensuring overachievement of defined revenue growth and retention targets.

  • Hire great teams, fostering a culture of high performance through direct coaching of sales leadership, and effective performance management.

  • Champion and support execution behind Strategic Account Engagements and Client Advisory Board; improving TBVA at power and elevating senior relationships with critical clients.

  • Establish and maintain enterprise client relationships with senior leaders, representing GDM in an executive capacity.

  • Drive retention and growth improvements by surfacing insights related to current market dynamics, sales development opportunities, and product enhancements with key stakeholders.

  • Streamline collaboration and cross channel harmonization - partnering across Gartner BU’s to ensure sales alignment with overall strategy and initiatives to maximize client value.

 
What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 10+ years of relevant sales leadership experience; with a minimum of 3-5 years leading large and complex teams to successful outcomes.

  • Proven leader with a consistent record of exceeding quota objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable business strategies.

  • Extensive experience in presenting and communicating ideas to key stakeholders and convey key concepts and ideas across all areas of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to define, build, and execute programs to drive key business initiatives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, up to and including C-level executives.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 154,000 USD - 199,500 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
