About this role:

We are seeking a customer-focused associate with strong quantitative, process, and communication skills to join the Research and Advisory’s (R&A) Content and Research Excellence (CRE) organization within Gartner. As the Project Specialist, this role will support the leaders who manage Gartner content coverage by supporting projects and providing insights and tools to drive client engagement and retention. This role will collaborate across different organizations with R&A and Gartner, more broadly.

What you will do:

  • You’ll collaborate with content creators, market research, product managers, data scientists and engineers to prepare reports and analysis to inform business decision making, and provide general support for R&A’s data efforts, as well as manage core CRE processes and support core CRE programs critical to enabling the creation and management of content

  • Provide front-line support for content creators on best practices for planning, creating, managing and promoting content 

  • Responsible for providing support to multiple processes and projects for the CPE team (e.g., new content leader onboarding, updates to corporate metadata, etc).

  • Help shape business questions and align the right mix of inputs (quantitative and qualitative) to for the most impactful analysis 

  • Support the Client Topic Sensing, Continuous Engagement and Key Initiative Leadership community enablement teams on additional projects as needed

What you’ll need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing Analytics or other data science field 

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science or other relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Marketing etc.) 

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Native-level verbal and written communication in English

  • Experience with business information services preferred

  • High data literacy, with a passion for data science 

  • Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel, MS Office, Power BI, statistical methodologies
