What you’ll do:
- Responsible for review of consolidated and federal quarterly and annual tax provision inclusive of ETR calc, tax portion of 10Q/10K, SOX, and C-Suite deliverables.
- Review federal tax return, R&D credit, extension and estimate calculations
- Project planning and coordination with wider tax team to ensure we meet deadlines timely and efficiently.
- Present results to Director, Vice President, and other members of senior leadership.
- Build a strong tax team by managing and developing senior tax associate
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement around tax process, tax reporting/compliance, documentation and controls.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field required. Master’s degree and CPA preferred.
- 5-7 years of related experience, public accounting background strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of domestic taxation principles and ASC 740 concepts
- Strong project planning, management, and critical thinking skills
- Proactive, Eager to learn/advance, take ownership of projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex information.
- Ability to work independently with appropriate guidance, multi-task, and keep director informed of status.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel/Office. Familiarity with Corptax (or similar tax software), Alteryx, Power BI, etc. preferred

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 92,000 USD - 130,410 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
