System Adminstrator

Description

This role is twofold, supporting Variable Compensation through the ongoing system administration of our quota management tool, Anaplan, and operationalizing beginning of year and intra-year new hire quota setting for the below-mentioned organizations through multi-dimensional System Modeling.   

This role will also provide support in the administration of the worldwide Research Sales, Consulting, Event and Specialist Compensation Plans. As well as drive collaboration and partnership with internal and external partners, including but not limited to Finance IT, Territory Planning, Territory Management, HR, FP&A and Sales Leadership.

What you will do:

  • Suggest, implement, and test system and process enhancements as needed
  • Implement solutions to automate current manual processes
  • Partner with Variable Compensation to administer beginning of year and ongoing new hire quota setting for a global sales force
  • Create advanced modeling and data analysis using various systems and data sources
  • Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated system driven multi-dimensional models
  • Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality
  • Serve as an architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions
  • Develop model documentation
  • Participate in data integration and migration solutions
  • Participate in UAT testing and deployment
  • Perform validation and data quality checks on both data imports and exports, research any data inconsistencies, perform root cause analysis and complete full reconciliation to guarantee accuracy
  • Use technical skills to data mine, understand complex system configuration and process effective dating
  • Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the transaction to payment process
  • Communicate and coordinate between multiple financial, sales and operational departments
  • Understand multiple internal areas of business (Sales, Finance, Territories, etc.) to research, analyze, and resolve potential issues
  • Coordinate and complete additional projects as requested

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree required: Finance, Math, Statistics, Information Systems, Software Engineering or Business Administration with a focus in the above.
  • Experience in architecting SPM solutions is also relevant, Anaplan Model Building a plus
  • 3-5 years business experience with the ability to design and build advanced business/analytical models, experience system architecting is a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology – requirements gathering, design, build/test and deploy (Agile experience preferable)
  • Proven ability to lead and execute responsibilities simultaneously
