  • As a Go-To-Market Strategy Expert for tech industry founders and CEOs, you’ll help Gartner client companies in the scaling and growth stages solve complex challenges and deliver on key go-to-market initiatives.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A successful track record in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies that accelerate revenue growth, primarily during the scaling stage of growing a SaaS business.

  • Experience building a high-performing product and marketing team and leading a start-up tech company through product market fit and other early tech start-up milestones.

  • Expertise in product and sales-led growth, pricing models, sales process and effectiveness, routes to market and channels.

  • Recent experience applying generative AI and other emerging technologies to cost effectively solving business challenges.

  • Exceptional communication and persuasion skills. Ability to apply Gartner’s research to client situations, and often challenge clients to adjust their priorities.

What You’ll Do:  

  • Conduct research on trends and innovative practices leading to actionable insights for tech CEOs and their teams

  • Advise tech CEOs and founders on strategy and how to prioritize initiatives to support that strategy.

  • Help tech CEOs and founders establish and scale their organizations.

  • Help experienced founders stay ahead of emerging innovations in product strategy, go-to-market approaches, and business management.

  • Deliver high quality, actionable advice to clients through a variety of formats, including presentations and 1:1 meetings.

  • Write clear, actionable advisory research documents.

  • Work collaboratively as part of a globally distributed team of experts, analysts and advisors.

What You’ll Need:  

  • 12 plus years’ experience working within the technology industry, with relevant go-to-market, product management and leadership experience.

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred

  • Must enjoy challenging the ideas of others and being challenged. Comfortable voicing your opinion.

  • A strong ability to explain complex ideas effectively

  • Proficiency in distilling data or information to identify key findings

  • A desire and ability to write effectively and succinctly

  • Intellectual agility

  • Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed environment

  • Experience in the Security and/or AI market segments is preferred

  • Direct, recent experience as a Tech CEO or founder is highly preferred.

For this role in those locations, the base salary range for new hires is:

California Annualized Base Pay Range: 150,000 USD - 170,000 USD

Colorado Annualized Base Pay Range: 150,000 USD - 170,000 USD

New Jersey Annualized Base Pay Range: 150,000 USD - 170,000 USD

New York Annualized Base Pay Range: 150,000 USD - 170,000 USD

Washington Annualized Base Pay Range: 150,000 USD - 170,000 USD

Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
