This team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting leaders and their teams through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences throughout the buyer journey.
The MVP, Marketing Operations is responsible for planning and executing the key technology and automation priorities (in collaboration with the Marketing Leadership team) to maximize Marketing’s impact on Sales Productivity, Gartner’s top-line revenue growth, and Marketing’s success.
What you will do:

Strengthen and improve the effectiveness of the overall Lead flow Process to eliminate waste/leakage, accelerate accuracy and speed to assignment.

Ensure our enterprise platforms and specifically Salesforce.com is deployed to maximize the effectiveness of Marketing initiatives in driving improved Sales Productivity and ensure a compelling UX for Sales AEs/BDs/Leaders.

Research and document all prospect/customer “touches” through-out an individual’s relationship journey with Gartner, and working collaboratively with all relevant BUs, make recommendations for changes to improve and optimize the Customer Lifecycle.

Develop consensus and publish specific guidelines, and do’s and don’ts for execute the optimum touch model.

Ensure the development and execution of a world-class center of excellence for Email Marketing for prospects marketing, client marketing and retention marketing across multiple BUs. Execute to clear and published/shared KPIs that are informed by top industry benchmarks.

Ensure the overall Marketing team is served with a strong and rationalized suite of productivity tools and technologies to allow for the cost-effective delivery of differentiated Marketing programs and initiatives.

Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to design, develop and lead implementation of technology and automation solutions to meet business needs founded on a thorough understanding of business unit strategies and objectives, the competitive landscape, and current and potential future business challenges.

Serve as an active member of the Marketing Leadership Team, working with senior management to devise appropriate solutions to drive Growth/AE through high volume and high-quality lead generation initiatives and prospect conversion programs.

Own responsibility for Lead Management Process – end-to-end design, execution, measurement and improvement.

Establish requirements and ensure execution of Martech and Sales Tech integration.

Lead, motivate, and develop a large team managers and individual contributors. Expanding and continuously improving the team’s influence and impact with executives and senior leaders.

Lead strong collaboration and partnership across many Business Units including Digital Markets, Research, Product, Conferences and Sales.
What You Will Need:
-
15+ years progressive business experience, preferably in a strategy, analytics or business consulting role, including 5+ years building and leading teams responsible for strategic analytics, executive reporting and the development and deployment of dashboards and self-serve analytic tools.

Bachelor’s Degree required. Degrees with a concentration in statistics, data science, operational research, finance or economics preferred.

P&L experience; comprehensive understanding of operations, both systems and processes.

Exceptional leadership skills and proven ability to drive teamwork and inspire rapid adoption of change in a complex matrixed organization with distributed virtual teams.

Excellent business vision and strategic capability, with a track record of driving results.

Ability to solve complex problems, think creatively and successfully draw the larger business story out of facts and data.

Strong knowledge of general business practices with a proven ability to establish trusted relationships across business units, gain consensus and drive action from a large, diverse global set of constituents.

Ability to prioritize & handle multiple requests concurrently and consistently deliver superior results in a timely fashion.

Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling executive-level presentations. Excellent verbal & written communication skills with demonstrated ability to convey complex concepts and analyses in an accessible and compelling way.
