What we’re looking for:

The Gartner Digital Markets International Team is looking for a native English-speaking intern to learn and support our marketing team in the UK, Canadian, and Australian markets .

This internship is ideally suited for a native English speaker who wants to get first hands-on work experience in the field of digital marketing. You will receive all the necessary training and will be actively taking part in the main tasks of our International Marketing department.

What you will do:

Learn and work alongside the International Marketing team to help execute and track all marketing efforts. Support the marketing team with some (or all) of the following activities, depending on the candidate’s competencies: 

  • Digital PR and link-building: Learn the basics of digital PR and link-building. Explore the media and blog landscape in the UK, Canada, and Australia. Find relevant contacts to grow our local media contact databases and assist in the preparation, implementation, and tracking of content promotion and link-building campaigns. Help monitor link-building opportunities and execute link recovery campaigns. 

  • Social media : Learn to develop creative assets for social media posts, assist in content planning and publication, and help grow our follower base and community engagement across LinkedIn, Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter. 

  • SEO : Learn how to perform keyword research and assist in on-site optimization projects to improve SERP rankings and drive traffic to local websites. 

  • SEM: Learn alongside the International and Performance Marketing teams how to create compelling ad copies and localize them to British, Australian, and Canadian channels. 

  • Vendor research : Assist in monthly research to identify local software vendors from the UK, Canada, and Australia and grow our product catalog. 

  • Competitor analysis and market research: Support the team with competitor and market research, and share insights and highlights.

  • Project management support: Support new and ongoing projects as needed. For example, help create and proofread scripts for new Youtube videos and/or assist in proofreading and publishing new software buyer guides.

  • Meeting attendance and organization: Participate in all regular team meetings, training, and workshops, and support the management team with the preparation.

  • Reporting: Support with the reporting of all major KPIs associated with the English-speaking markets.

  • Inbound requests: Support the team by replying to incoming email inquiries from vendors and buyers.

What you will need:

  • Native-level English language skills.

  • Native-level French skills are a strong plus. 

  • Studies in PR/Communication, Business, or Marketing.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand, report, and act on data.

  • Based in Barcelona with a NIE and able to work full-time for a period of 6 months.

  • This internship must fit into your academic studies.

  • University Learning agreement required, owned by the University. Candidate must be enrolled at the University.
