About the role:
Gartner is looking for an analyst to provide research and advisory to Midsize Enterprise Chief Information Officer clients. You are likely to have experience as Digital Business Transformation Consultant, or Chief Information Officer, Chief of Innovation or Chief Digital Officer or equivalent role for Midsize Enterprises. You will have proven experience in leading transformational change digital business initiatives to full completion. Your Responsibilities will include creating indispensable insights that will help Midsize Enterprise CIOs anticipate what they should prioritize, help them create a plan, and execute their business transformation mission critical priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Delight clients in all interactions to drive client retention and growth through effective engagement with clients and prospects.

Develop and deliver the insights, advice, and one-on-one guidance that advance clients’ key initiatives and give them a competitive edge in the context of the MSE agenda storyline.

Stay on top of trends, the relevant vendors and marketplace, common approaches, and leading ideas and generate new thought-leading ideas and best practices.

Use thought processes, analytic tools, and evidence/fact base within appropriate standards and processes to generate these insights.
What you'll need:
-
12+ years’ of experience. CIO level experience leading innovation in Midsize Enterprises.

Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or relevant experience.

Additional languages are a plus (Spanish and/or French)

Demonstrated delivery of content, innovation and thought leadership and research coverage flexibility in support of clients.

Engagement in collaborative teamwork that improves colleague, cohort and team skills, knowledge, and performance.

Exceptional and articulate communication skills; ability to explain complex ideas simply and effectively. Good storyteller.

Exceptional analytical skills: ability to apply conceptual models, recognize patterns, draw, and defend conclusions with peer analysts and clients.

Experience with leading digital business strategy initiatives and execution all the way to establishing operational practices and familiarity with challenges faced by MSE enterprises.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 150,000 USD - 190,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
