About This Role:
As a Manager, Data Analytics- Sales, you will be part of the Business Intelligence team, reporting to the head of Vendor & Reviews Analytics. You will be responsible for building reports and visualizations that will provide actionable insights to improve sales performance and operational efficiency. You will be developing queries and dashboards for the sales leadership team. You will be responsible for implementing scalable reporting and data access tools to ensure decentralized access to critical information by creating self service tools for the sales team.

Work directly with the Sales Leadership to understand reporting requirements and expected utilization and turn requirements into a dashboard development plan.

Create proof of concept reporting solutions to ensure alignment with customer goals and refine development plans and priorities.

Work with Analytics partners to identify data solutions for reporting including data model development and upstream production processes and workflows.

Build reporting solutions using design and data standards to ensure consistency and accuracy in Sales information sources.

Work with Sales in the development of a Pipeline report and leading indicators.

Conduct user acceptance testing for all developed reporting solutions.

Understand agile methodologies and utilize agile methodologies at each stage of the development process.

Produce documentation and training materials to support the adoption of reporting solutions and manage training sessions for reporting customers.

Publish released dashboards to relevant tracking and discovery solutions.

Document all data sources and supporting data processes for metadata capture.
-
Monitor dashboard utilization to identify opportunities for improvement.
-
Ensure dashboards are maintained and reflect the most accurate possible view of performance.

Support other data visualization requests including executive presentations and business performance readouts.

Manage daily production as well as long term maintenance and improvement of the suite of Sales reporting dashboards

Lead training to the Sales team on the interpretation of reporting and dashboards to promote user adoption.

What you’ll bring to the team:
-
BA/BS degree, Masters degree strongly preferred
-
Degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics or another quantitative field a plus
-
Strong technical skills. Excellent SQL skills, Snowflake, Power BI.

Experience working with Sales.
-
6-8 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, consulting, data product management, or related role
-
Experience delivering data and reporting capabilities to support Sales performance
-
Experience developing data products from requirements identification through adoption
-
Experience with project planning and central management of complex, multi-functional projects
-
Experience producing effective written and visual communication for executive audiences
-
Experience with Sales CRM systems a plus (Salesforce, SugarCRM)
-
Experience with other database scripting languages is a plus.

Experience with business intelligence and data visualization systems a plus (Tableau, Power BI).

Experience working with cloud-based or traditional relational DB management systems is a plus.
