Description of the Role: The Security Engineer, IAM role is very critical to the Identity management team focused on stable, secure, and proactive management of the Identity service to on premise and cloud services at scale in a rapidly growing environment. The role requires understanding and implementation experience of the IAM technologies such as authn, authz, federation protocols SAML 2.0 and OIDC, SCIM provisioning, Powershell/Python based automation, LDAP(S), PKI and privilege access management which helps in the implementation and operations of the solutions to address identity challenges.

What you'll do:

  • Work in an agile team setting

  • Demonstrate the ability to develop or consume APIs

  • Demonstrate strong understand of Open-Source technologies, framework, tools, and trends

  • Ensure successful implementations of IAM projects and meet the timelines

  • Responsible for implementation of provisioning/de-provisioning, user life cycle management and federation solutions based on SAML 2.0 and OAuth/OpenID Connect

  • Understand scenarios and develop detailed technical requirement documents to implement the automated solutions

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems or similar

  • Strong communication skills, team player and adhere to collaborative work environment

  • Responsible for developing IAM automation solutions

  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python etc.)

  • Strong understanding of Identity Services, Active Directory Services, LDAP, Single Sign On, and PKI

  • Experience with Privileged Access management solutions is desired, preferably architecture and implementation experience

  • Strong understanding of cloud Identity governance

  • Experience with technologies such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Role-Based Active Control (RBAC) and Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) preferred

  • Experienced with API consumption and implementation using languages such as Python

  • Knowledge on information security technologies and industry best practices

  • Familiarity with IaaS/PaaS architectures running on AWS, Azure, or similar platforms

  • Experience working with fast-paced operations/dev teams and DevOps practices is preferred

  • Keep up with new technologies and engineer solutions as applicable

  • Prefer 4 years of applicable experience

For this role in those locations, the base salary range for new hires is:

California Annualized Base Pay Range: 76,000 USD - 87,400 USD

Colorado Annualized Base Pay Range: 68,800 USD - 79,120 USD

New Jersey Annualized Base Pay Range: 80,000 USD - 92,000 USD

New York Annualized Base Pay Range: 80,000 USD - 92,000 USD

Washington Annualized Base Pay Range: 76,000 USD - 87,400 USD

Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
