What You’ll Do
- Use data/analytics to help solve strategic, commercial challenges facing the GS&D business units
- Partner with stakeholders to define and prioritize strategic initiatives and key cross-functional deliverables. Provide strategic input that affect functional areas of responsibility.
- Conduct high impact business analysis using descriptive or other statistical techniques to provide insight into business performance.
- Manage Business Unit relationship for Service Analytics and Productivity team; Act as single point-of-contact across the Service Analytics and Productivity team for the BUs.
- Build deep and lasting relationships with stakeholders across the Global Service and Delivery organization as well as other functional areas, including Finance, Products, Research and Sales. Ensure tight collaboration during development and execution of initiatives across functions.
- Continuously monitor health of business, diagnose emerging issues, and recommend early corrective actions
- Lead business analytics and reporting in executive leadership meetings for use in decision making and strategic planning.
- Identify retention opportunities through analytical approaches and recommend actions for service teams.
- Drive metric and process consistency through close collaboration with Finance, Products and Research.
- Support development and definition of KPIs that assist business leaders in managing the business
- Identify and develop leading indicators for business performance. Research co-relation between Service Delivery Associates (SDA) activities and retention.
- Partner with BU Leaders to track and monitor their GS&D priorities. Capable of resolving issues arising from operations that require inter-departmental coordination.
- Coordinate with Automation team to incorporate developed KPIs into dashboards
- Lead a high performing analytics team
- Provide hands-on analytic and data extraction guidance and coaching to the analytics team
- Develop team capabilities and provide coaching as needed
- Determine the efficient resource allocation that allows for high project velocity
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive analytics experience a must. 3+ years of consulting experience in the strategy and/or consulting experience. Practical, intuitive problem solver with a demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into actionable analytic tasks and translate quantitative analysis into actionable business strategies.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required with a master’s degree preferred. Degree with a concentration in engineering, computer science, statistics, data science, operational research or finance preferred.
- Analytics and Reporting: Demonstrated expertise with hands-on experience in descriptive and statistical analyses. Experience with PowerBI or other data science techniques such as machine learning, recommendation engine, and natural language processing is a plus but not required.
- Data Engineering: Intermediate to expert level in Python or SQL to retrieve and transform data from warehouse is a must. Solid hands-on experience with traditional data engineering tasks such as building analytical data records preferred.
- People Leadership: Strong team management experience to coach and motivate a high performing team.
- Exceptional problem solving: Proven track record of solving complex problems, thinking creatively, and using data to tell a story to influence senior level stakeholders. Demonstrated thought leadership with high business impact throughout career.
- Success in fast-paced environments: Detailed oriented; Track record of success in fast-paced environments with competing and continuously evolving priorities.
- Leadership: Successfully led key initiatives; engaging teams and key stakeholders across business functions and at all levels of the organization.
- Collaboration: Strong collaboration and influencing skills in a highly matrixed environment.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication – structured, engaging and compelling.
