About the Role:
Gartner is looking for passionate, creative developers who are excited to foray into any technology and create innovative products for end users. Software Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, and support of applications to help fulfill our Research & Consulting Delivery strategy.
What you’ll do:
Designing, implementing, unit, integration testing and supporting Web based applications and services
Contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements
Collaborate on architecture and technical design discussions
Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design/specifications
Documenting and review detailed design
Be able to work in teams and collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements
Be able to innovate and showcase new approaches to improve efficiency
Be able to work in a globally distributed team in an Agile/Scrum approach
What you’ll need:
Strong IT professional with 2-4yrs of experience in software development. The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with the expectation of taking on ownership and accountability.
2 - 4 years of experience in web application development.
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in technology
Good to have
Experience working on relational databases (MySQL/Postgres/Oracle) including intermediate exposure in writing SQL queries.
Experience in React or Angular
Knowledge of development methodologies, standards, design patterns would be a plus.
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
