The Tax Manager will support International Audit & Controversy

What you’ll do

  • Assist with the tax risk management strategy for company affiliates in foreign jurisdictions

  • Collaborate with members of the global organization to collect the appropriate and relevant information for audits

  • Manage and approve the flow of information to external advisors and government auditors 

  • Manage the relationships with external advisors and government auditors to control the scope and direction of the audit

  • Conduct research and provision of detailed analysis of global tax legislative changes impacting the company.

  • Provision of tax support for ad-hoc tax planning projects

What you’ll need :  

  • 8 years PQE of experience either in a large public accounting firm, law firm or multinational company  

  • Lawyer or Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Consultant  

  • Willingness and ability to work in a collaborative manner with other team members

  • Ability to be objective and provide independent input and analysis

  • Exudes a positive and winning attitude

  • Proactive self-starter, able to work on own initiative in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in dealing with the audit defense process, dealing with foreign tax authorities, managing outside counsel; and experience with negotiation and execution of audit settlement
