About this role:
Gartner needs a well-rounded and motivated Lead Analytics Engineer who will be a part of the CDO Platform team. The CDO platform team is responsible for innovating the platform on which CDO products are delivered, optimizing performance and cost.
CDO organization builds data solutions leveraging the latest technology and methodologies to analyze, develop, model, and verify interfaces, applications, logic, and services that help solve data challenges.
What you’ll do:

Responsible to review and analysis of business requirements and design technical mapping document
-
Build new ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse
-
Drive automation efforts across the data analytics team utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Configuration Management, and Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) tools such as Jenkins.

Support MDM initiatives and work on Ataccama MDM platform for governance, data discovery, profiling and classification; Enable automation of tasks in Ataccama.

Help build defining best practices & processes.

Collaborate on Data warehouse architecture and technical design discussions.
-
Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design and specifications, as well as document and review detailed designs.

Provide status reports to the higher management.

Maintain Service Levels and department goals for problem resolution.
What you’ll need:
-
Strong IT professional with 3 - 7 years of experience in Data warehouse design & development. The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have:
-
3- 7 experience in Data warehouse design & development
-
Experience in ETL using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
-
Experience in writing complex TSQL procedures in Synapse / Sql Data warehouse
-
Experience with Python, Shell scripting and big data processing using Spark
-
Experience with continuous integration/delivery tools like Jenkins and infrastructure as code using Terraform
-
Experience in analyze complex code and performance tune pipelines
-
Good knowledge in Azure cloud technology and exposure in Azure cloud components
-
Good understanding of business process and analyzing underlying data
-
Understanding of dimensional and relational modeling
Who you are:

Graduate/Post graduate in BE/Btech, ME/MTech or MCA is preferred.

Excellent communication skills.
-
Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.

Owns success – Takes responsibility for the successful delivery of the solutions.

Strong desire to improve upon their skills in tools and technologies
