About this role:
The Variable Compensation Systems Analyst will provide support in the administration of the Incentive Compensation Management System.
What you’ll do:
• Support the implementation of the IBM Incentive Compensation System including requirements gathering, design, build, testing and training.
• Maintain the commission software application and the related data inputs and outputs ensuring accurate commission earnings and reporting
• Review daily feeds to ensure successful data imports, analyzing logs, updating pick lists, working with IT If needed
• Ensure the uninterrupted operation of the commission applications, responding to problems, inquiries, and change requests
• Participate in robust testing of all changes to the commission system ensuring the data integrity of all changes to the commission software application including data tables, calculations, views and reporting
• Communicate and coordinate between multiple IT, financial, sales and operational departments
• Understand multiple internal areas of business (Sales, Finance, IT, HR, Territories, etc.) to research, analyze, and resolve potential issues.
• Identify and research inconsistencies to determine root causes and offer proposals for remediation
• Suggest, implement and test system enhancements as needed.
• Coordinate and complete additional projects as requested.
What you’ll need:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; computer information systems, finance, economics, or analytics degree strongly desired
• Technical competency relating to software configuration
• 3-5 years business experience with the ability to design and build moderately complex business/analytical models and possesses the ability to effectively communicate analyses and/or recommendations with senior stake holders.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to identify and resolve root issues.
• Excellent excel skills.
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to efficiently gather data, perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and succinctly communicate analyses to varying audiences
• Strategically focused
• Motivated, high-potential performer, with demonstrated ability to influence and lead
