Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Program Specialist to join our global Sales Learning and Development (SL&D) team. The SL&D team is responsible for sales new hire onboarding, as well as development programs for tenured associates. The SL&D Program Specialist will oversee the operations and logistics of our global sales learning program. This role requires a high degree of independent problem solving, stakeholder management, coordination, attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge and experience in L&D operations and program management, while being agile, accountable and results oriented.

What You Will do:

  • Oversee logistics and operations of global Sales L&D program including onboarding processes, creation of associate resources, and scheduling
  • Support the effort to define, design, and develop the learning and development strategy for the Gartner Digital Markets Sales team
  • Assist in the on-going development and refinement of the learning curricula that includes but is not limited to: The documentation of best practices, lessons learned and bright spots of high performing associates. New training or resources required for new and/or revised products and services. New training or resources required for new and/or revised sales processes
  • Aid the Sales Enablement program with logistics support, including scheduling and resource creation and/or formatting
  • Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders to support the continual gathering of information, feedback and input in order drive curriculum development/evolution
  • Partner with HR to ensure clear and effective communication on new hire start dates and onboarding periods
  • Maintain clear communication channels regarding updates to the Sales L&D program and partner with Sales Communications when widespread messaging needs to be conveyed
  • Develop surveys to collect feedback for the SL&D team to help determine strengths and areas of opportunity
  • Engineer trackers and surveys to measure new hire performance and progress, as well as report and present relevant data back to key stakeholders
  • Leverage learning technology in order to effectively deliver training content (repeatable, scalable) for Sales associates, and aid in the development of technology-based learning and development solutions
  • Identify training tools, platforms, and new resources to improve program productivity and effectiveness

What You Will Need:

  • BA degree in IT, Business, Marketing, Instructional Design, Education Technology or similar
  • Minimum 1 year in experience in a sales environment or operations role that supported corporate training
  • Ability to evaluate needs and present effective solutions to business unit partners
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
  • Experience in writing effective instructional text, audio and video scripts
  • Experience/Understanding in visual design skills with ability to storyboard
  • Familiarity with Learning Management System (ideally Cornerstone) and e-Learning development programs (ideally Articulate) is preferred 
  • Ability to independently manage and prioritize projects in an organized, programmatic way
  • Excellent organization skills, time management and task flexibility with the ability to change priorities as needed
  • Willing to accept full accountability across all projects assigned
  • Able to collaborate and build productive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong team player, willing to share ideas and information with peers and business leaders
