About this Role:

The Territory Planning & Analytics (“TP&A”) team is at the center of delivering against our CEO’s top priorities – rapidly-growing the sales force and increasing sales productivity.  We provide strategic advice to corporate and senior Sales leaders across the globe to ensure the best return on the company’s substantial annual investment in incremental sales professionals.   

TP&A’s Operations team provides mission-critical support focused on efficiently translating strategy into action.  Our ability to execute while continually innovating, automating, and enhancing our services is core to TP&A’s ability to meet the increasing needs of the broader business.    

What you’ll do:

The associate will be responsible for providing Operational Services to Sales Leaders and thereby help drive NCVI (Net Contract Value Increase) by executing key processes and improving Territory Strategy. Partner with TPA Stakeholders to help Sales Leaders take informed decisions in incremental Sales force and building optimal territories.

Operational Support

  • Engage verbally and in writing with assigned Sales region(s) to provide timely and accurate support for core TP&A processes (e.g., account alignment, new hire intake)

  • Manage and resolve support requests from internal clients within service level agreements

  • Prepare periodic reports for consumption by key stakeholders

  • Ensure data integrity by identifying discrepancies and redundancies, and working with appropriate resources to update databases

  • Develop subject matter expertise on Tools/Applications to improve services delivery; Terraplan, Excel, Power BI, Freshdesk

  • Engage with Sales Leaders and partner with members across functions to deliver value

  • Pick adhoc projects that are operational in character with minimal guidance and free up Consulting

  • Partner within and across teams to Identify gaps, problem solve and improve processes

  • Guide new team members and enable their ramp up to speed

Iterative Improvement  

  • Relentlessly drive to increase the quality, breadth and value of our support for TP&A and Sales

  • Engage regularly with colleagues in India and USA to learn new ways to solve problems

  • Improve processes by identifying gaps and suggesting ways to advance the state of our art

  • Learn new tools, become strong at these and be able to guide Sales teams with those tools

  • Build creating visual metrics, reports and dashboards, thereby improving deliverables

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in STEM discipline with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in client service and/or service operations role

  • Communication – conveys ideas in a clear and concise manner that considers audience (written / verbal). Requires associate to interact with Stakeholders and Senior leaders globally across time zones

  • Collaboration – works effectively in teams; builds / maintains good relationships

  • MS Excel – strong knowledge of the tool, including complex formulas (e.g., vlookup, hlookup, index match, and text functions; exposure to VBA/Macros a plus)

  • Problem-Solving – breaks down problems and considers solutions, comfortable with quantitative analysis

  • Organization – demonstrates a sensible method for managing tasks; able to work effectively on multiple projects at the same time

  • Proven competence for meeting deadlines, multi-tasking and working with ambiguity

  • Business acumen, analytical, logical thinking, attention to detail and presentation skills
