About the role:
Gartner is looking for well-rounded and skilled software engineer to join the Gartner’s Marketing Intelligence Team. You will be part of highly motivated agile team driven by innovation and collaboration. As part of Conference and Marketing Technology organization, you will work on the multi-cloud environment with high-performance, scalable, and secure application development using cutting edge technologies.
What you will do:

Build and deliver Spring Boot/Batch applications integrating with various databases, AWS Services and REST APIs.

Help with product design, code automation, code reviews, and maintaining code quality.

Work with the product team, business users, and other developers to support product delivery in a fast-paced Agile-Scrum environment.

Identify bugs and work on a mix of small/medium-sized efforts simultaneously.
What you will need:
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field or equivalent experience in software development.

2-3 years of experience of building Software products in enterprise level.

Experience coding in object-oriented programming and design patterns.

Ability to apply optimized data structures and algorithms in the application coding

Proficiency working in Java with understanding of Spring Boot/Batch frameworks.

Experience working with relational database technologies like SQL Server, consumption/creation of Restful APIs, worked on Jenkins and Git.

Solid understanding of security and best practices
-
A passion for engineering, learning and good inter-personal skills.

Nice to have: Experience on AWS Services like SQS, SNS, EKS, etc
-
Exposure to Reactjs framework is a plus.
