Senior Manager, International Tax

Description

The Senior Manager of International Tax will be a key member of the International Tax Team acting as both a project manager and subject matter expert with respect to regulatory and legislative matters pertaining to the global taxation of Gartner’s worldwide operations. This highly visible position will work within the International Tax Team as well as in a cross-functional capacity on advanced, mission-critical concepts.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as subject matter expert with respect to global taxation of multinational corporations (i.e. GILTI, Sub F, FTC, CAMT, Pillar 2/GMT) and associated concepts.

  • Act as project manager of special projects inclusive of global minimum tax workstreams (e.g., compliance, reporting, etc.).

  • Conduct technical research and report out to leadership.

  • Provide oversight to global legislative environment.

  • Liaise with reporting and compliance colleagues to ensure calculations are in line with regulations.

  • Provide technical support for modelling/scenario planning.

  • Manage other assigned special projects

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Advanced degree in taxation/law (e.g., MST, J.D.)

  • 5-7 years’ experience working for a large public accounting firm or combination of public accounting and large multinational corporation

  • Strong understanding of U.S tax regulations, especially with respect to taxation on international operations (i.e., GILTI, FDII, FTC, Sub Part F, BEAT, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of global minimum tax regulations (i.e., OECD Pillar 2)

  • Proven track record of project management

  • Proficiency using research tools such as CCH, Bloomberg, IBFD, etc.

  • Proactive, attentive to detail, strong sense of ownership, ability to prioritize and to work autonomously

Desired

  • Degree in Project Management or L.L.M.

  • Experience/proficiency with automation/tax solutions, e.g., CorpTax, Oracle HFM/EPM, Alteryx, PowerBi
