The GSSO team is at the nexus of Gartner’s mission-critical priorities of rapidly growing the sales force and increasing sales productivity. We partner with senior sales leaders across the globe to ensure the best return on the company’s substantial annual investment in sales professionals. The team is focused on driving analytical, technology, and process improvement solutions to some of the company’s most pressing challenges. About this role:

To sustain double-digit growth and exceptional seller productivity, Gartner invests heavily in sales support resources, namely through Sales Specialists and our Sales Development Program. The Sr. Manager of Global Sales Strategy is responsible for creating our global deployment and expansion strategies for these teams. What you’ll do: 

  • Consult with key Gartner business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand Sales Support goals and develop our Sales Support strategy

  • Deliver comprehensive analytics (reports, analytics, and presentations) to diagnose issues, identify risks, and lead conversations to inform and shape decision-making

  • Partner with colleagues in GSSO to understand the economic value of Sales Support resources and roadmap future expansion

What you’ll need: 

  • 4+ years of experience, ideally with focus on Business Analytics and/or Sales Operations.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, databases, and relational databases. Familiarity with statistics and statistical tools.

  • Quantitative and qualitative problem-solving experience, including turning quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations and business strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to form relationships and have strong communication skills.

  • Team player – you get along well with your colleagues and are always ready to help get things done. You enjoy working on projects with multiple people and share knowledge.

  • Passionate about learning. You thrive on complex technical challenges and are always eager to learn the latest technologies.

  • Organized and detailed-oriented.

  • Innovative. You are always proactively looking for opportunities to problem solve using innovative methods that impact the business.
