Senior Transfer Pricing Associate

What you’ll do

  • Provide Alteryx/Excel modeling and analysis to support to Transfer Pricing team

  • Create and maintain Alteryx and excel models to analyze and support results and provide performance analyses related to intangible property and tax provision. 

  • Maintain Transfer Pricing models ensuring calculation of Gartner’s Intercompany Pricing, Cost Share and Service Fees for affiliates is accomplished in a timely manner.

  • Assist with drafting responses to notices and inquiries from various taxing authorities especially where financial analysis is required.

  • With Manager, prepare internally or assist outside advisors in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation in accordance with US and foreign requirements.

  • Participate in special planning projects such as functional analyses; research and document issues and opportunities.

  • Provide support within the Tax department related to the transfer pricing components of US and non-US tax returns, such as preparation of transfer pricing disclosures and appendices.

  • Transfer pricing analyses, assistance meeting global transfer pricing compliance and audit needs, and completion of special projects toward the Tax Department’s objectives.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree Required; degrees in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred

  • 4+ years’ experience in financial analysis, accounting, or similar role

  • Advanced Excel skills required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proactive, attentive to detail, strong sense of ownership.

  • Able to multi-task and prioritize with support of manager. 

Preferred qualifications

  • Transfer Pricing experience

  • Experience with ERP and/or financial systems, especially Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and/or EPM

  • Alteryx and Power BI experience
