What you will do:

Gartner Digital Markets is an innovative digital business that provides lead generation and marketing services to the software and services industries.  We are looking for an experienced sales professional to partner with existing Gartner Digital Markets clients in delivering consistent value of our intent data platform.  By becoming a true partner to your clients, you’ll identify opportunities for account retention as well as growth through contract expansion via new markets, services, and products.

  • Guide client satisfaction, account retention and growth by collaborating with clients and internal Gartner teams

  • Maintain accurate forecast data and pipeline management on a timely basis

  • Partner with key marketing and sales executives to understand their most critical priorities, developing and implementing effective deployment plans aligned back to said priorities.

  • Prospect and drive new business in existing client install base to meet quota goals 

  • Research and become a knowledge expert in your clients and the marketing technology trends impacting them

  • Conduct product demonstrations — discuss integrations/marketing technology stacks, present strategic proposals

  • Stay on top of competitive developments to inform our product roadmaps

  • Bring insights back to your colleagues and functional leadership to help power our continually evolving products and processes

  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts to ensure strategic alignment and identify high propensity growth opportunities

What you will need :

We’re a traits-based organization that seeks diverse talent to best meet our clients’ needs. We look for sales professionals with strong executive presence, intrinsic drive, natural curiosity and coachability. The experience level we look for is as follows:

  • 4 – 8 years of consultative, Tech B2B sales experience

  • Experience prospecting to the C-Suite and VP-level leadership of enterprise businesses

  • Quick learning attributes that enable you to pivot and work through ambiguity 

  • Track record of overachievement on goals or quotas

  • Strong organizational and process orientation skills, exceptional verbal and written communication

  • Experience working with large complex organizations

  • The ability to communicate business and technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to build relationships and navigate organizations to find the right points of contact

  • Ability to tailor a sales pitch for a prospect and combat common objectives with confidence

  • Marketing and sales technology experience preferred but not required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
