About the role:
This is a unique opportunity for a systematic, creative, and experienced individual to make a big impact on Gartner’s client experience as part of the Gartner Digital Products & Innovation group. We are looking for a results-driven, self-motivated problem solver who can help us on the development of our applications. The conference Team is in charge of the operations regarding all the international conferences Gartner provides worldwide.
What you will do:

Design, implement and update applications to support or improve business operations.
-
Create custom features for the Conference Platform, deploy new tools and software.
-
Monitor and Analyze issues of efficiency, and develop ways to improve the operational efficiency and reliability of the platform.

Collaborate with various internal and external IT and Business stakeholders.
-
Using development tools including test-driven development
-
Web UI knowledge and best practice skills, with experience in frontend frameworks including Angular JS and jQuery
What you will need:
-
2-4 years of Hands-on software development with .NET4.5+, C# and JavaScript web-based technologies
-
Involvement in all phases of the software development life cycle
-
Microsoft SQL Server and demonstrated SQL skills
-
Full stack development of web applications using C#
-
Full-stack development of web applications, Lambdas and Restful services using ASP.NET Core 2.1+
-
2 years’ experience with AWS Core such as S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Elastic cache / Radis, Elastic Search etc.
-
Strong notion of security best practices using KMS and IAM Roles
-
Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack.

Building and deploying microservices on EKS
-
Building and deploying server-less application using Lambda
-
Knowledge of writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Experience in building and maintaining AWS CI/CD using Jenkins
