About the role:
This is a unique opportunity for a systematic, technically strong, and driven individual to make a big impact on Gartner’s client experiences roadmap as part of the Gartner Engagement (Centre of Excellence). We are looking for an impact-driven, self-motivated problem solver who can help with the backend and frontend implementation of the platform’s product roadmap.
This role will work closely with the leadership as well as the product, design, and Quality Analyst teams to implement the product roadmap and help improve the client experience. You will also help mentor team members and own the release process.
What you will do:

Assume major responsibility for our user-facing platforms.

Participate actively in architectural planning and decisions.

Fluently code as a full stack developer

Lead development of our web applications
-
Handle client releases
-
Build and enforce guidelines for clean maintainable code.

Work closely with design, product, and users to build a truly useful product.

Help with hiring and mentoring new engineers.
What you will need:
-
Strong sense of ownership and drive to help execute our product roadmap.

Expert at web development
-
7-9 years of experience developing customer facing products or web applications.

Strong experience with one or more of the popular Java frameworks preferably Spring/Spring Boot.

Good knowledge of front-end technologies such as ReactJS.

Great sense for UI/UX

Able to operate independently given vague/partial product and design requirements.

Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytical.
