Content Information Manager


About the role:  

As a content information manager for the BuySmart application within Gartner’s Product Management organization you will primarily be responsible for the collection, structuring and delivery of data and insights for the product team.  You will liaise with the product managers to understand functional requirements and then work with development teams to define and deliver the required data and insights. You will be involved in extracting, cleaning, and delivering data from websites, systems, databases, and internal sources. In addition, you will help define the data processes and partner with internal developers to build data automation pipelines.  

This job requires an individual with a high attention to detail, who operates as a team player, with a proactive approach, interest in learning about new trends and willingness to solve problems. 

What you will do:  

  • Acquire, review and input data from a wide variety of sources into information systems for use in new Gartner products. 

  • Be able to compare and review multiple sources to collate and combine overlapping data when needed and raise queries to highlight inconsistencies. 

  • Work to time sensitive deliverables and maintain accurate documentation. 

  • Utilize various resources and systems to improve data point comprehension, maximize data quality and usage. 

  • Help in data quality assurance, project kickoff preparation and communication. 

  • Deliver projects on time and maintain high-quality standards of the deliverables. 

  • Work in a fast-paced work environment in close collaboration with the other team members. 

  • Actively participate in formal and informal knowledge-sharing sessions. 

What you will need:  

  • 0-3 years of experience in data acquisition, input, and quality assurance preferably within technology or information services companies (or any other industry if you have brilliant data management skills and have an eye for detail), in a busy environment that is deadline driven. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and desire to deliver error free work.

  • Great team player. 

  • Attention to detail and quick to understand new concepts. 

  • Collaborative attitude and no-limits learning mindset. 

  • Capable of delivering error-free content. 

  • Able to perform gracefully under pressure
