About this role:
This person will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a centralized and consistent project management plan across two core conference technology deliverables, Content/Agenda and Expert Management. The main focus of this will be dedicated to our client facing Conference Navigator tool, as well as our internal GEM (Gartner Events Manager) admin tool.
The strategy will be inclusive of helping to create tools and process for tracking of enhancement request and defects from across the core delivery teams, with prioritization at the core of all decision making.
There will be a key focus on delivery at scale as well as continuous improvements and enhancements.
Alongside this, the Manager will also be responsible for driving a testing strategy across their direct and wider teams and help to create process and training documents across the technology platforms used by the teams.
What you’ll do:

Drive the strategy for capturing, tracking and closing out technology enhancements and fixes.

Work with the team to create efficient and effective tools for the purpose of large scale tracking .

When required, partner with wider BUs or teams to understand technology requests and innovations

Help drive team to effective communication and training strategies

Help with initial troubleshooting requests, both internally and for external clients

Travel to in person conferences to support onsite delivery

Be responsible for second level prioritization

Help build business cases for innovation and change across our technology platforms

Directly manager three team members

What you'll need:

Previous admin or project management experience

Leadership of small teams- 1-5 direct reports

Ability to work onsite in Irving or Stamford office 1-2 times a week

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload
