About this role:

This is a new manager role we are adding to compliment and support the current Strategic Partnership team. As our conferences have grown in number and size, so too have our internal partners’ interest and focus in engaging with our attendees within our conference space. This net-new associate to the team will help provide the dedicated attention to these business units to help meet their objectives at Gartner Conferences.

What you’ll do:

Partner with Consulting and the Contract Optimization Services (CFC) team

  • Regular engagement with Consulting & CFC leadership and their teams with the purpose of understanding their BU’s goals and objectives when onsite at our conferences

  • Create and update training materials and playbooks for their teams to utilize while engaging with Conferences

  • Collaborate with key internal partners across the business to improve programs and processes

  • Provide onsite check-ins with the team for status updates and to work through any questions and concerns

Sales/Service Meeting Centers

  • Partner with Conference Technology team to improve meeting center tools to allow for easy scheduling and clear communications to attendees

  • Work with Client Experience Team (CET) and Logistics teams to ensure adequate space for our Sales and Service teams to engage our attendees in Commercial meetings

Additive Functions

  • Streamline Additive Function requests intake and processes globally and look to technology for solutions that allow for scalability and increased efficiencies for BUs requesting space or resources at our conferences

  • Partner with Program Management team and other Conference Centers of Excellence to ensure requests are the ‘right thing to do’ and support the execution of request if approved

  • Sales leaders, Service Delivery leaders, Sales/Service Operations

  • Consulting & Contract Optimization Services (CFC) leaders and teams

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 4+ years of conference experience working in a corporate environment

  • Previous management or leadership experience

  • Strong organizational skills: able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Client focused with proven customer service skills

  • Strategic thinker: able to work issues through to resolution

  • Proactive and decisive with a high sense of urgency

  • Communicative and collaborative with strong oral and written communication skills

  • Competent Project Manager
