Targeted Engagement Planner


About this role:

The Conferences Product team at Gartner provides strategic direction regarding the development, enhancement, and launch of new products within the Conferences business.  The team provides analytics, designs products and their associated programs, and builds communications to drive successful execution and delivery of the Gartner Conferences product portfolio. 

As part of this team, you’ll execute programs in collaboration with key business stakeholders within the organization in a fast paced, dynamic setting.  Your primary focus will be to run a portfolio of exhibitor products.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the design and execution of Gartner’s industry-leading global conferences business.  The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex business problems and working toward a common goal in a collaborative setting.

What you will do:

You will work cross functionally, coordinating tasks and managing deadlines, to run specific exhibitor products within Gartner Conferences.  

Responsibilities span running specialized processes to support the delivery of Targeted Engagement products:

  • Own specific processes regarding the delivery of Targeted Engagement products that serve Exhibitors at Gartner Conferences

  • Manage scoring model output and prepare lists of attendees to invite to exclusive, invite-only functions

  • Distribute and manage invitations and responses for all Targeted Engagement Functions

  • Responsible for setting up all functions in our Event Management System including forms, attributes, schedules, and data imports

  • Ensure conference agendas (Conference Navigator) are completed accurately and timely

  • Perform reconciliations and reviews to ensure all data and communications to attendees are accurate

  • Assist in troubleshooting efforts to solve process or technical issues as they occur whether onsite or supporting remotely

  • Work with cross functional teams to manage to deadlines

  • Track success metrics across functions and summarize results

  • Travel to onsite Conferences to support Targeted Engagement product delivery as needed

What you will need:

  • Associate degree (or hands on work experience of 1-3 years)

  • Strong communication skills to keep all stakeholders aware of the product delivery status

  • Comfortable working in event management technology platforms

  • Fast learner, able to deliver valuable results in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail and proficient in establishing learning and performance metrics

  • Capacity to work with cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization and work collaboratively in a matrixed environment

  • Organizational skills with the dexterity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
