Conference Manager, Corporate Events

Role Purpose:

  • Logistical management of Gartner’s Corporate Events and Annual Sales Incentive Winners Circle

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Partner with Gartner Business Units to deliver internal events for Gartner associates
  • Development of program and budget
  • Event logistics including management of venue, production, food and beverage, content
  • Financial Management
  • Winners Circle
  • Delivery of Gartner’s annual Sales Incentive, Winners Circle
  • Venue Management
  • Collaboration with internal and external partners on production requirements
  • Food & beverage management
  • Financial management
  • Management of external suppliers/freelancers
  • Build effective relationships with internal partners ensuring clear understanding of their strategy and priorities
  • Build effective relationships with external partners ensuring clear communication of Gartner priorities
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively across pre-event and onsite teams
  • Effective project management including ownership of and adherence to timelines and templates
  • Continuous improvement through effective feedback collection and evaluation

Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years Event Management experience
  • Competent in Financial Management
  • Proven Project Management Experience
  • Experience of Contract Negotiation and Supplier Management

Technical/Professional Skills and Competencies:

  • Competent in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally
