What you’ll do: 

  • Evaluate new technologies related to end user computing for use in the corporate enterprise to enable our knowledge workers.

  • Develop standard work environments on company owned devices to ensure usability, performance and security requirements are maintained.

  • Automate end user support activities to include packaging of software and scripting of support tasks.

  • Automate service desk and desktop support tasks using various scripting languages (PowerShell)

  • Assist with packaging all Gartner owned software for deployment via Enterprise distribution methods using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager/System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.

  • Administration of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune to include reporting.

  • Evaluate and assess viability of end user technology – software and hardware.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Essential Functions:

    • 2+ years of experience with the Automation of tasks using various scripting languages (PowerShell) to better support the service desk and desktop support

    • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/ Microsoft Endpoint Manager

    • Packaging and distribution of applications using Microsoft Endpoint Manager/System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

    • Experience with Windows Patching using WSUS\SCCM, Software Update Groups (SUG), and Automatic Deployment Rules (ADR), 3rd party patching.

  • Ideally candidates will have experience in:

    • Application packaging

    • Windows Patching

    • Hybrid Active Directory, Azure Active Directory

    • Microsoft Azure

    • Microsoft Endpoint Manager

    • Experience with PowerShell

  • Additional areas of expertise are a plus:

    • Modern Windows Device Management - Intune, Autopilot

    • Azure Virtual Desktop (Windows Virtual Desktop)

    • Active Directory Users and Computers

    • PowerBI and reporting

    • Group Policy

    • Experience with KQL – Kusto Query Language

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Office Configuration Manager

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-pace dynamic environment

  • Must be able to multi-task, change direction, set priorities, and meet deadlines
