What we’re looking for:  

Gartner Digital Markets Creative is a dynamic, engaged, in-house creative team. To meet current business needs and fuel our growth, we’re seeking an experienced Art Director to contribute innovative design solutions for digital marketing. You’ll take a lead role in the visual development, expression and governance of our brands. You’ll be a liaison between the creative team and other teams, design and craft compelling communications and help further establish our brand identity and presence in the market.

This role reports to the Creative Director and collaborates with other designers, editors, writers, project managers, and internal business partners throughout the organization.

  • Develop compelling creative for digital content and web-based experiences aligned to business objectives and brand expression.

  • Collaborate with peers including designers, writers, project managers, and marketing team members to deliver cohesive solutions.

  • Provide feedback and direction of team member’s work in meeting communications objectives and brand standards.

  • Present creative work and offer creative perspective to internal teams and business partners.

  • Coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to Creative team members.

  • Ensure all creative is aligned and consistent with the overall brand from ideation to delivery. Be a steward of our brands.

  • Contribute innovative ideas to drive our web experiences, digital marketing campaigns and our brands forward.

  • Designing with a “digital-first” mindset. Maintain knowledge on the latest techniques and advancements related to design and production.

  • Lead multiple projects and discrete initiatives from conception to completion and manage deadlines in concert with Project Managers.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a similar major. 

  • Minimum 10+ years of related work experience in Graphic Design, Art Direction, Branding, Advertising, Marketing or relevant field.

  • Knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS and web content management platforms. Expert in Figma (able to deliver pixel-perfect design files with requirements to a development partner).

  • Experience designing compelling social assets, multi-page documents like e-books, sales collateral, presentations, etc.

  • An outstanding portfolio. Your expertise shines through your examples. Your portfolio showcases your foundation in design for branding, marketing, advertising, social and interaction design.

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite - Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (After Effects a plus). Working knowledge of XD or Figma and presentation applications like Google Slides and PowerPoint.  

  • Ability to think conceptually, tell a story, take a high-level concept and apply it to an entire campaign.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and visually translate complex business topics and trends. Can easily translate data into compelling infographics and marketing communications.

  • Demonstrated experience working with and developing brand guidelines.

  • Refined sense of design with a meticulous eye for typography.

  • Ability to quickly adjust to new situations and maintain focus to meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a strong desire to collaborate, share skills and both give and receive constructive feedback in a team environment.

  • Verbal English skills (we work in English!)
