What we’re looking for: 

As an intern at the International team at Gartner Digital Markets you will learn from and support our Translation Team on a variety of tasks across different country markets, for the different languages we work with - French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Nordic languages, Turkish, Polish, Japanese.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing business unit of Gartner, and be a part of the success of the program by bringing in the required skills. For this internship, you will have a cross-department function and will work with our Translation Project Manager and Translation Specialist. You will have the chance to familiarize with translation processes, deal with different teams, collaborators and agencies, improve your organizational skills, discover new translation and proofreading tools and platforms.The successful applicant is flexible, adaptable, organized, curious and diligent.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Translation Team in managing, coordinating and delivering the translation requests.
  • Work alongside the Translation Team to make sure the translations meet our quality standards and are delivered and published on time. 

  •  Help ensure translation queries are accurately and timely answered. 

  •  Support developing and maintaining the translation style guide, glossaries and translation memory for all target languages. 

  • Handle other tasks related to helping manage translation projects.

Note: You will be trained in the tools and applications that you will be using on a daily basis during your internship.

What you’ll need:

  • Studies in Translation/Linguistics/Interpreting.

  • High level of English. Additional languages welcome.

  • Excellent command of your native language (grammar, spelling).

  • We are looking for a sharp thinker and quick learner who is able to understand different business models and workflows. You need to have a good sense of organization, be able to solve problems and make decisions.

  • Based in Barcelona with a NIE and able to work full-time for a period of 6 months.

  • This internship must fit into your academic studies.

  • University Learning agreement required, owned by the University. Candidates must be enrolled at the University.
